Jay Roberts - Owner/Operator

Jay is a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter with 25 years of hands on experience in the building industry. He has additional training in building Timber Frames and Tiny Houses. Jay works with integrity and professionalism while bringing positivity and inspiration to every project.

Before founding Sylvan Home Builders Inc., Jay worked as a carpenter/foreman on many new home and renovation projects on Vancouver Island. 

Jay also enjoys adventures with his family, surfing, camping and exploring Vancouver Island.
